APPLICATION
Produces a weathertight seal to glass, metal, porcelain, ceramic and most painted surfaces. The white and clear colors contain a fungicide, making the sealant suitable for use in bathrooms, spas and other applications where joints need protection against mold and bacteria.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Do not apply over damp or contaminated surfaces
- Use with adequate ventilation
- Not intended for continuous water immersion
- Do not use on surfaces sensitive to corrosion by acetic acid vapors (a by-product of sealant cure)
Sealant Dimensions
- For joints 1/4 in (6 mm) to 1/2 in (13 mm) wide, the width to depth ratio should be equal
- Joints 1/2 in (13 mm) wide or more should have a depth of 1/2 in (13 mm)
- Minimum joint size is 1/4 in x 1/4 in (6 mm x 6 mm)
Clean Up
- Dry tooling is preferred
- Tooling is recommended immediately after application to ensure firm, intimate contact with the joint interface
- Cleaning can be accomplished with solvents such as IPA, Xylol, Toluene or MEK while sealant is in uncured state
